Benedict Canyon Road - Length: 1 miles
This is a old dirt road now closed to traffic. It provides a quiet
link from Mulholland to the Valley. Or a quick way to get out
of the hustle of the valley or to get good sunset views of the
valley.
Trailhead: Benedict canyon comes off of Ventura Blvd at
Woodman Blvd in Sherman Oaks.
The top end is from Clerenoon Rd from Mulholland Drive east of
Beverly Glen Blvd.
Dixie Canyon Road - Length: 0.5 miles
A closed road providing a quiet stroll with views of San Fernando
Valley.
A foot trail climbs the ridge line above the road.
Trailhead: The lower trailhead is accessible from Dixie
Canyon Ave off of Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. The upper side
is accessed from Dixie Canyon Ave off of Mulholland Drive between
Beverly Glen and Coldwater Canyon. The foot trail is also accessed
from Sumatra Drive off of Mulholland Drive between Beverly Glen
and Coldwater Canyon.
